The Stone Cottage

The Stone Cabin was the first cottage built. Nestled above the ram paddock and near a small forest, it’s private yet spacious enough for two families.

The tastefully furnished living room which has a fully equipped, open-plan kitchen, comfy sofas and snuggly throws. This is an ideal space for romantic lantern-lit weekend activities such as cooking, playing board games or enjoying a glass of wine by the oversized fireplace or in the wood-fired hot tub.

The cottage is completely off-grid, lit by solar power and gas fuels the oven, fridge and geyser.

100% cotton linen and towels are provided.

The large spring-fed rock pool with a sundeck and loungers is the perfect spot to relax.

Two outside braai areas are equipped with wood, braai tools and grids – everything you need for a great self-catering weekend!

The Wood Cabin

Situated amongst a grove of Oak and Poplar trees, the Cabin offers the utmost privacy, perfect for a romantic getaway, to experience rural tranquillity, let kids be kids and to create treasured memories.

The cabin can accommodate 4 persons. It has 2 bedrooms.

 The living room has a fireplace and large windows that open completely into the trees.

A small stone pool has been built catching the mountain stream that gently flows past the cabin. There is a wooden deck and lounges for complete relaxation and braai facilities too.

 The bird life around the cabin is wonderful and if you are awake early enough, enjoy a hot cup of coffee and watch a pair of resident Duiker from either a large sofa or your bed.

The cabin has no electricity, gas operates the oven and fridge and geyser. There is an outdoor shower in an old water tank however, if a little chilly, enjoy a long hot bath inside. Candles and lanterns are provided as well as solar lights.

100% cotton linen and towels are provided for 1 bedrooms, equipped with a queen-size bed and the 1 sets of bunk beds.

The Camp Site

Tucked away in the corner of the farm, surrounded by mountains, fynbos and pasture, the campsite is exclusively yours. We only rent to one group at a time - big enough to accommodate up to 30 persons, but charming enough for 2 persons to enjoy entirely on their own.

Quick Facts

The Camp site boasts a wonderful area with plenty of shade, a 5-minute walk from the swimming hole with deck and sun loungers. Children can run free and explore safely, fish for Bass and enjoy braai-ing marshmallows on the great evening fires in the lapa,  fall asleep exhausted, listening to campfire banter.

CHECK-IN / OUT:

Check-in is from 2pm and checkout is 10am unless otherwise arranged.
Should there be no guests checking in on Sunday, there is no rush to leave.
